POWERED BY SOCIAL JUSTICE
I am a fully qualified freelance journalist and also the author of The Single Feather (TSF) published by Pilrig Press in 2015.
Since TSF landed, I have concentrated more on my journalism mainly because working for long periods at my desk is just not possible due to a deterioration in my disabilities.
Those problems stem from an accident I had aged 18 in 1989, which left me with life-changing spinal cord injuries. At that point in time, dire predictions were made such as me not surviving past 30.
I am still here, just...
Living with such disabilities changed the direction and focus of my life - towards those cast aside by society and those who do not have a voice.
The Single Feather was about loneliness, being the 'other', and the power of communities.
My journalistic output concentrates on social justice issues.
I hope you enjoy the site.
